Sometimes you have to step back to move forward. Have wanted to take my daughter, her husband, and children to New York City forever. It's where I began my serious nursing life, met my late husband, and learned how to be an adult on my own, truly. March brought that opportunity.
I won't bore you with every detail, but having dinner at DOCKS on the east side, where my husband took me, was quite a trip down memory lane. The children loved it, and making memories was what it was all about.
Taking them to Tiffany's...need I elaborate? I'm not a big fan of the new decor, but the elevators were almost the same, except for the absence of the friendly operator. We did make a purchase, and lo and behold, they still had my husband's name on file. That was a joyous and emotional surprise.
Hopefully, I'll be able to gather all my grandchildren together for a group trip. Where? I have no idea, but anywhere will do.
Does anyone read my blogs? Getting an email telling me would be most appreciated. [email protected]
Happy Passover and Easter.
