It's supposed to be Fall. Is that a joke? Not only is it over 80 degrees in Charleston, but I was in Ann Arbor Michigan last week visiting my daughter and her family and it was over 80 degrees there. Who says Global Warming is a hoax? In my mind right now it's here. In fact, for the 1st time in my life, I have a heat rash on my legs from the rubber boots I wear in the garden. What is wrong with this picture?
My garden walls, patios, and driveway were pressure washed yesterday to prepare for Fall house guests and to lift my spirits. Yep, I'm a clean freak. I have been my entire life. My Mom said I "cleaned the clean", and my daughter says the same thing. I can't help it. Fall cleaning is a thing! I've only just begun!
What do you do in the Fall? Do you start baking everything pumpkin? Do you plant mums? I have a bag of bulbs to put in the ground when and if it cools off. Will you be doing that?
